MEASURE
The first step in ensuring a quality installation is a quality measure. Our professional service provider will come to your home to take accurate measurements for your new window treatments. In order to ensure the best possible experience, make sure to take a look at this pre-measurement checklist:
- Make sure that the homeowner (or someone trusted to make project decisions) is present and available during the appointment
- Clear the working area of all obstruction (including but not limited to furniture, plants and blinds)
- Keep children and pets out of the work area
- Be ready to discuss which new products you are considering. This allows the measure tech to gather info that can be used to assist you during product selection
You might want to consider purchasing removal or haul-away. If you chose against purchasing these items, please designate an area for packaging materials and old treatments.
- Removal
The installer will remove your old window treatments from your windows - Haul-Away
The installer will haul away and dispose of your old window treatments and packing material
SCHEDULE
As we determine the estimated time of arrival for your window treatments, we will keep you informed on the process.
Once the new window treatments have been received in your home, please contact The Home Depot. Crew2 will be notified that the material has arrived and will then contact you to schedule your installation.
INSTALL
On the day of your installation, you can expect an excellent experience. This includes arriving on time, performing the work with the highest quality of craftsmanship, and cleaning up around the work site once the work is complete. In order to ensure the best possible experience, make sure to check out this list prior to your appointment:
- Ensure that the working area is enclosed and that all construction or finishing work is complete
- Make sure that the working area is still clear of all obstructions (including but not limited to furniture, plants, and blinds)
- Keep children and pets out of the work area
- Unless removal has been purchased, remove existing window treatments
- Make sure the homeowner (or someone trusted to make project decisions) is present and available during the appointment
