Preparing For Installation

One of our handpicked service providers will arrive at your house at your scheduled time to begin the installation process. All of our providers carry an orange Home Depot Home Services badge. If this badge is not visible, ask to see it. This badge means they have undergone a thorough background screening process and are properly licensed (where applicable) and insured.
 

Before beginning the installation, our certified installer will answer any questions and then will: 

•Review the contents of the window treatment shipment that you have received to confirm the window treatments are correct and the order is complete

Review the installation plan with you and ensure you understand the installation process

•Professionally install your new window treatments and ensure they operate correctly

•Clean the job site and move all project-related debris to your designated location. If you added the haul-away option to your order, the installer will remove it from your home

•Provide the manufacturer's product manual and warranty card to you

•Conduct a final inspection of your window treatment project with you. You'll be able to ask any questions you have about proper care and maintenance

After you are satisfied with the installation, the installer will request your signature to complete the process.

 

 Before we begin our install, you can help speed the process by:

•Removing all existing window treatments (unless you requested this be done by the installer)

•Moving all furniture that may obstruct the work area away from the windows

•Disconnecting any alarm systems

•Keeping children and pets clear of the work area

•Ensuring the homeowner, or an adult over the age of 18 with the authority to make decisions, is present during the installation

After Installation

In the days following your installation, you may receive a survey call from The Home Depot. It is an opportunity to rate your installation experience with us. Our goal is to provide you with a "Perfect 10" experience and we hope you will rate our installation team as such.
