Preparing For Installation

prepare for your plumbing fixture install

Your dedicated project management team will clearly communicate what you can expect of the work about to be performed and answer any questions you may have. They will serve as your point of contact throughout the installation process.

If required, your Project Manager will coordinate any permits and inspections with your municipality. They will establish a schedule for the work being performed and keep you informed throughout the process.

When the project is completed, we will clean up all construction-related debris and haul it away.

To prepare for the installation:

Make sure to have a contingency plan for the temporary loss of your bathroom for the duration of your project.  Other important things to consider:

•The work area may be inaccessible for the duration of the project. Please store personal items currently in the bathroom elsewhere

•Remove pictures from adjoining walls

•Provide our crews with places to stage and cut materials

•Provide access to workmen during work days

•Be sure electricity is accessible to the work area

•Expect your water and power to be briefly shut off

•Expect dust. While we do our best to minimize any mess and disruption, your home will become a construction site for a brief time

•Keep kids and pets away to ensure everyone's safety

•Be sure the homeowner, or an adult over the age of 18 with the authority to make decisions, is present for the duration of the install

•Depending on the scope of work and materials to be installed, expect noise from hammers, saws and drills during work hours. If you live in close proximity to neighbors, please make sure they are aware there may be noise from your remodeling project

•Please notify us in advance if you live in a building or community with regulations limiting work hours or other guidelines to which we will need to adhere

•If your neighborhood or building requires approval of any remodeling work or work schedules, please make sure to take whatever action is necessary prior to the start of installation and notify our crews of any restrictions

After Installation

In the days following your installation, you may receive a survey call from The Home Depot. It is an opportunity to rate your installation experience with us. Our goal is to provide you with a "Perfect 10" experience and we hope you will rate our installation team as such.
